Uses: Root yields red color commercial dye, mainly used for coloring foodstuffs, wools, oils, and medicinal preparations. Uses : Ambrette seeds come from a tropical hibiscus. The seeds contain an oil with a fatty-musky, slightly ambery odour. Uses : This plant is popularly supposed to act as a safeguard against scorpions and snakesby paralyzing them.
